Who should take this course:
This course is appropriate for everyone involved in line management
including foremen, supervisors, site managers, project managers,
as well as proprietors of smaller companies.
Objectives:
To ensure that line managers have the training in Health and Safety
required by HSE.
Course Content:
The course covers The Health & Safety at Work Act and the
regulations relevant to the Construction Industry (and other workplaces),
including:
- Site set up
- Scaffolding
- CDM
- Confined Spaces
- Risk assessment
- Demolition
- Method statements
- Excavations
- Electricity
Training Method:
Candidates are involved in a range of activities which draw on the
group's experience and develop a wider understanding of their responsibilities.
There is a final test to confirm their understanding of the legislation.
