Who should take this course:
This course is designed for plant managers, plant instructors, plant
inspectors, workshop managers, project managers, agents and anyone
who is or is about to be responsible for planning, organising, monitoring,
controlling and administering staff, groups of staff and workforce
Objectives:
To help plant managers, instructors, agents and supervisors
to:
- Manage health and safety on site, training area,
workshop area in accordance with legal provisions, and within
the context of their management or supervisory roles
- Develop an understanding of responsibilities
and accountability for site health, safety and welfare
- Recognise a safe site, training area, workshop
area that is efficient, economical and productive
- Implement all health, safety, welfare and environmental
legislation that affect them during their daily work
- Implement new guidance and industry best practice
- State their duties and responsibilities with
regards to health, safety, welfare and the environment

Training Method:
A highly interactive practical and classroom based course, concludes
with practical assessment and theory test demonstrating the candidate’s
full understanding of the training.
On successful completion of the course, the
candidate will receive a ConstructionSkills Plant Management Safety
Training Scheme certificate.
