A
full Health and Safety Executive (HSE) approved First Aid at Work
course, in accordance with the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations
1981.
Course Duration: 4 Days
Who should take this course: All
staff who are designated to be an appointed First Aider.
Objectives:
On successful completion of the course, the candidate will be able
to be used as First Aider in the workplace in accordance with the
Health and Safety at Work Act 1974

• Examination of a Casualty
• Unconsciousness
• Control of Bleeding
• Fractures
• Burns and Scalds
• Common Illnesses
• Heart Attacks
• Eye Injuries

• First Aid Kits
Training Method:
The course includes both theory and practical sessions.
Candidates are independently examined on the final afternoon of
the course. Upon successful completion certification is valid for
