training - Energy & Utility Skills Register (EUSR)
As the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for the electricity, gas, waste
management and water industries, Energy & Utility Skills (EU
Skills) operates an independent skills register which provides recognised
standards for the utilities sector.
Individuals who qualify for registration on the EUSR database are
issued with a card and appear on our dedicated website. Employers
and individuals have the opportunity to search the EUSR database
via the website to confirm details of skills and training.
EUSR benefits both the employer and individual. An independently
operated register confirms the skills and abilities of individuals
when moving from company to company or industry to industry; whilst
employers now have a robust mechanism to demonstrate the abilities
of the workers who operate under their control.
