Project Description
Ray Hewson has worked in Construction for most of his career so far, starting work as a labourer and then to become a Plant Operator.
His career has taken hum to sites all around England working for both large and small businesses.
Through Skills Support for the Workforce, Ray has achieved a National Vocational Qualification in Plant Operations at Level 2. His card shows that he is competent in the use of Ride on Roller, Forward Tipping Dumper and Excavator.
This qualification has enabled him to apply for CPCS Blue Competent Operator Card, which shows that he has the skills required to operate plant on site. This card is recognised across the construction industry.
Ray is currently working on a Keepmoat Site as a sub-contractor to Ashridge Contractors Ltd, where part of his job is preparing the site for a housing development of over 1,500 new homes.
He is pleased and proud to be working for the improvement of the area generally, and he has the added advantage of working near home.
